Vyntel

About Vyntel.

Vyntel is an independent software house. It was founded by Aditya Sharma, an engineer based in India who has spent more than a decade building products for people there and abroad, and it exists to make a small number of apps well.

The brief for every Vyntel app is the phone a person already carries, on the network they already have. That shows up in small decisions, such as testing every screen at the largest text size and on the cheapest phones we can find, and in large ones, such as doing audio processing on the device so that nothing has to be uploaded.

The four rules

Native apps. Swift on iOS and Kotlin on Android, with real terminals and real audio engines. Nothing is wrapped in a web view.

Private by default. Work stays on your device unless you choose to move it. This site sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts.

One job, done properly. Each product owns a single workflow and simplifies it until the first screen is the useful one.

Tested on the phones people carry. Large text, small screens, slow networks and inexpensive devices are part of the definition of done.

What is being made

AgentPanes is available; Song Studio is in development; Jivari is in development. AgentPanes puts the coding agents running in Herdr and tmux on your machines within reach of your phone, over plain SSH. Song Studio helps a singer learn one song properly, phrase by phrase, in a key that fits their voice. Jivari teaches the twelve swaras of Hindustani music by ear, each heard against Sa. They share the rules above and nothing else; each keeps its own name and identity.

The company also keeps a journal of what it builds and learns, and publishes its brand and design system so that anyone working on a Vyntel surface, person or agent, starts from the same page.

The name

Vyntel is a made-up word. It was chosen because it is short, easy to say in most languages, and was free to register. It does not stand for anything.

Questions, partnerships, press, or a note about one of the apps: write to hello@vyntel.com. A person reads every message and answers the ones that need an answer.
